Quick Start PDF Print E-mail

If you are like most developers, you don't want to spend a lot of time reading a manual.  So this section is for you.

As a side note, if you want the "online" manual in a single webpage so you can print it, click here.

The following SQR code will create an Excel file from within SQR.  This code is truly a quick example, using minimum statements to produce a file.  This is a good test to ensure the SQR2XML solution will work for you.

#include 'xml_writer.1.08.sqc'

do xml_init_environment
do xml_init_file(97, 'david_excel.xls', 0, 0)

do xml_init_style(0)
do xml_style_alignment('', 'Bottom', 0, 0)
do xml_finalize_style()

do xml_init_worksheet('Test 1', 0, 0)

do xml_init_row(1, 0, 25, 0, 0)

do xml_cell_char('Test 2', 0, 0)
do xml_cell_char('Test 3', 0, 0)

do xml_finalize_workbook()
